Renovation FAQs
Larger works are reviewed for fabric, access, programme and any design or consent input before a build price is fixed. These answers describe the process, not a fixed catalogue of prices.
How do renovation briefs differ from maintenance?▼
Maintenance briefs usually address a defined fault. Renovation briefs often need survey or design input before strip-out, then a written build quote or staged price basis. We separate those phases when that protects programme and price clarity.
Do you handle kitchens, bathrooms and lofts?▼
Yes — submit a private brief with photos, drawings if you have them, and the outcome you want. Fit, capacity and any professional input are confirmed before work is programmed.
When is planning or Building Control involved?▼
It depends on the property and the accepted scope. We identify known permission questions during triage; formal decisions sit with the local authority or your appointed professional. Conservation streets often need extra care on external changes.
How are deposits handled on larger works?▼
Larger works use the deposit and final-payment terms written into the accepted quote. Card payment, if urgently needed, is arranged manually outside the app. Small completed jobs are typically bank transfer after completion.
Who delivers renovation work?▼
Accepted renovation scopes are routed to Hampstead Renovations (or Maintenance for smaller care packages). Delivery is in-house — not a marketplace auction of third-party traders.
