For a smaller job, we confirm any call-out charge and the agreed price basis before attendance. Larger or less defined work may need a visit before a written quote can be prepared.
Step 3
You approve before work starts
Planned work is scheduled only after the scope, price basis and next step are clear. Any later change to the agreed scope or price is put to you for approval first.
Payment for the current MVP
Smaller jobs
Payment is made by bank transfer after the work is completed, in line with the agreed price basis.
Larger works
A deposit is collected by bank transfer after you accept the written quote. The final bank transfer is due in accordance with the accepted quote and completion terms.
There is no in-app card payment flow. If a different payment arrangement is needed, it must be agreed directly and recorded in writing.
Urgent work
Call first. We will confirm availability, likely timing and any call-out charge before attendance. Submitting a brief does not itself book or dispatch a specialist.

Pricing questions
Why is there no public rate card?
Property work depends on access, fabric condition, materials, programme, freeholder rules and any approvals. A generic hourly table would mislead more often than it helps. We confirm the price basis for your accepted scope in writing instead.
When do you need a site visit before quoting?
Straightforward jobs with clear photographs can sometimes be priced from the brief. Openings, structural fabric, concealed services, complex access or unclear faults usually need a visit first so the written quote is safe to rely on.
How do deposits and final payments work?
Smaller completed jobs are paid by bank transfer after completion. Larger works use a deposit by bank transfer after you accept the written quote, then a final bank transfer in line with the accepted completion terms. There is no in-app card checkout in the current MVP.
Are emergency call-outs priced differently?
Urgent work is call-first. We confirm availability, likely timing and any call-out charge before attendance wherever circumstances allow. Make-safe is scoped separately from later planned repair, which is quoted before it continues.

How do I get a quote?
Submit a private brief online or call the operating line. Straightforward work may be priced from photographs and a written description; larger or uncertain scopes may need a site visit first.
Are quotes fixed-price?
The written quote states whether the work is fixed price or another agreed price basis. Variations to scope or price must be agreed before additional work continues.
How do I pay?
Payment is by bank transfer. Small jobs are paid after completion. Larger works use an agreed deposit after quote acceptance and a final transfer on completion, unless milestones are written into the quote.
What workmanship cover applies?
Accepted jobs carry our 12-month workmanship guarantee subject to the written scope and exclusions. Product and manufacturer warranties remain separate where they apply.
