Job-specific checks
The evidence needed varies by scope. We confirm the relevant person, registration route and insurance before regulated or specialist work begins, rather than treating one badge as proof for every type of job.
Public liability insurance
Checked for the scopeWe confirm the public liability cover appropriate to the work we accept. Relevant documentation can be requested before work starts.
Employer's liability insurance
Checked where requiredWhere employer's liability insurance is legally required for the people delivering the work, we confirm that cover as part of our job checks.
Gas work
Registered personnel onlyGas work is assigned only to an appropriately registered engineer. The registration details for the person assigned to the job can be confirmed before work starts.
Electrical work
Qualified for the workElectrical work is assigned to personnel with qualifications appropriate to the scope. Where registration, notification or certification is required, we confirm the route for the specific job.
Construction competency
Checked per job typeFor managed building works, we check that people on site hold appropriate competency evidence for the role (for example CSCS where relevant). Card or certificate details can be provided for a specific site on request.
Waste & materials
Licensed carriers where usedConstruction and household waste removed during our work is handled by licensed waste carriers. Carrier licence details for the firm used on your job are available on request.
Credential questions
Can I see insurance certificates before work starts?
Yes. For an accepted job we can confirm the public liability (and employer's liability where required) relevant to the people delivering that scope, and share documentation on request before attendance.
Do you claim company-wide Gas Safe or NICEIC membership here?
This page does not invent blanket scheme memberships. Gas work is assigned only to appropriately registered personnel for that job; electrical work is assigned to people with qualifications appropriate to the scope, with notification or certification routes confirmed when required.
What about waste removal from a renovation?
Where construction or household waste is removed during our work, it is handled by licensed waste carriers. Licence details for the firm used on your job are available on request.
Does listing credentials guarantee attendance or a fixed price?
No. Credentials are confirmed for the accepted scope. Fit, capacity and the written price basis are separate decisions. Submission of a brief is not a booking, and this page is not a rate card or attendance guarantee.
Who delivers accepted work?
Accepted work is delivered in-house through Hampstead Renovations or Hampstead Maintenance — not a marketplace of third-party bidders. Job-specific competence and insurance are confirmed before planned work starts.
