Full postcode, a clear description of the fault, photographs of the affected area and any visible pipework, floor level or access notes, and whether the home is occupied. That package lets us decide if a quote can be written from the brief or a site visit is needed first.

Sometimes, when photographs and a written description define a safe scope. Concealed fabric, complex access or unclear faults usually need a visit before a written price basis. The quote states inclusions, assumptions and exclusions.

Water supply and drainage work is assigned to appropriately qualified plumbing personnel. Gas appliances, boilers and gas pipework are assigned only to a Gas Safe-registered engineer, with registration confirmed for the job.

There is no single postcode rate. Price depends on access, fabric condition, parts, programme and any building rules. Smaller completed jobs are paid by bank transfer after completion; larger scopes use the deposit and final terms in the accepted quote.

Accepted work is delivered in-house through Hampstead Maintenance or Hampstead Renovations — not a marketplace of third-party bidders. You keep one point of contact for the brief.
